Safety on the stairs
A stairlift of Handicare Stairlifts is a comfortable, attractive quality product but above all, your lift is safe. Our standard safety measures:

• Every seat is fitted with a safety belt as standard.
  
  
• The seat will stop automatically if there is any obstruction on the rail or stairs.
  
  
• Every seat is fitted with a key to prevent unauthorised use.
  
  
• Every seat can swivel, allowing enough room to get on and off safely.
  
  
• The stairlift works on two batteries so that in the event of a powercut you can continue your ride, and even use it again several times after that.
